LVC Dominates Eden Memorial Tournament

14Black & 15Black Both Win Their Divisions!

It was a great day of volleyball for LVC at the Eden Memorial Tournament in West Seneca! 14Black & 15Black dominated their respective divisions and won without losing a set all day.  14Blue placed third as well and had a solid showing - great job everyone!

Boys Regionals Recap

LVC 14Black Places Second

The local season for club volleyball came to an end this past weekend with the WEVA Boys Regional Championships taking place...here are some highlights:

*12Black places 3rd with an overall match record of 3-1 on the day

*all LVC 14s teams advanced to the gold bracket (White/Blue/Black)...that's a great accomplishment! 14Black finished second, 14White was third & 14Blue placed fifth

*15Black lost a heartbreaker in the semis and placed third (15-13 in the third set)

*16Black advanced to the gold bracket and placed 5th overall

*in the 18s division, 18Black placed 3rd overall while 18Blue won the silver bracket and placed 5th!

Congrats to all players, coaches & parents for your dedication and hard work this year!

LVC 12Black Wins Spring Daze Event

12s Are Champs Of 10-Team Event In Rochester

It was a busy weekend of volleyball for Lockport Volleyball Club as all 10 teams were in action.  14Pink competed in an event in Buffalo, 15Black & 18Black were in Canada for the "Beast Of The East" AAU Grand Prix qualifier while the other seven LVC boys teams were at various sites in Rochester for the Spring Daze tournament.  Some highlights were as follows:

*a big congrats to all players & coaches on the 12Black squad who won their age group at Hot Shots!!!

*14Black lost in the gold bracket finals while 14Blue won the Silver Championship - great job guys!

*15Black made the gold bracket in the Canadian event and lost in the quarterfinals 

*16Black had a strong showing in the 16s division and lost in the gold bracket quarterfinals

The annual Boys WEVA Regional Championships are up next (on March 24th) so keep working hard and good luck to all teams in that event.
