Congrats to LVC 18Black on a hard fought victory in the finals of the 18USA division at Boys East Coast Championships in Richmond, VA this past weekend.  The boys rallied for an exciting comeback victory in dramatic fashion with a match point service ace from Kaidan Krchniak!  The final scores were 20-25, 25-23, 16-14...great job everyone!

As a club, LVC had a very successful weekend with numerous teams winning their final brackets on the last day of play:

14Blue: 15th out of 20 (USA Division)

14Black: 4th out of 9 (Open Division)

16Black: 5th out of 16 (Open Division Silver Bracket Champs)

17Black: 9th out of 16 (USA Division Bronze Bracket Champs)

18Black: 1st out of 15 (USA Division Gold Bracket Champs)

All of our hard work over the course of the season is definitely paying off so keep up the effort going forward...our next stop is Boys Junior National Championships in Orlando, FL which is just a month away!

The Daemen Mens Volleyball team earned an impressive 3-0 win against Long Island University on "LVC Night" yesterday.  The big victory solidifies Daemen at the top of the Northeast Conference with a perfect 6-0 record (11-1 overall).  Their only blemish of the season was a loss to Penn State who is currently ranked third in the Off The Block National Media Poll.  The squad heads to California next week for a trio of big matches against three nationally ranked opponents (Concordia, Pepperdine, Northridge).

Prior to last night's match, roughly 20 LVC players participated in a clinic with the team and coaches.  The boys seized a great opportunity to interact with some of the top players & coaches in our region.  Afterwards, numerous LVC families & coaches packed the gym to cheer on the hometown squad and it was a great night of volleyball for everyone!
